Over the years I have been fortunate enough to establish amazing working relationships with the finest hotels and discovered remote villages of true artisan handcrafts to learn from and partake, and develop creative workshops with other renown creatives, teachers, healers and guides.

Our week together will be filled with creative workshops mixed with day trips that take us to fascinating, colorful locales! We’ll also have studio workshops with several traditional artisans in Marrakech, scour the ancient souks, visit historic sites, and have a full day in the beautiful seaside village of Essaouria.
Our home base is the gorgeous Peacock Pavilions. Nestled in an olive grove just outside the city, Peacock Pavilions is the perfect oasis for rest, creativity, and connection. With its hand-painted Arabian tents, lush gardens, and stunning views, it’s more than a place to stay—it’s a space to dream, create, and recharge. Many of our meals and events are at the Pavilions including our creative workshop sessions. You are in for a treat!
Our workshops are intimate and designed to inspire. Dave and I team up to lead you through several creative experiences that take your inspiration form your time in Marrakech and personally translate them into storytelling decoupage collages and gorgeous textile talismans. We’ll have multiple creative sessions in the studio at Peacock, communing and creating together. Workshop specifics will be shared prior to the trip. Each guest will receive a beautifully curated ‘goody bag” that includes materials for our projects.

* Explore historic sites and the exotic, colorful Souks in Marrakesh, bursting with color, texture and treasures.
* Explore traditional craft and create with local artisans in hands on workshops.
* Learn about the authentic preparation of Moroccan cuisine and create a beautiful organic dinner with our Chef.
* Roam the historic streets of the seaside village and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Essaouria.
* Ride camels on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, a most surreal, peaceful adventure.
* Enjoy luxurious spa treatments and a traditional Moroccan Hammam at Les Bains des Marrakesh.
* Experience the traditional art of henna on a rooftop with cocktails and views of ancient olive groves.
* Savor deliciously prepared organic meals at Peacock Pavilions
* Be entertained by fire dancers and delight in an outdoor cinema experience.
* Share in an art experience with the girls from Project Soar, an empowering non-profit program Maryam from Peacock Pavilions created to educate & empower marginalized young girls.

RETREAT COSTS &
PAYMENT SCHEDULE
The total retreat cost is $6,200 broken down into 4 installments.
The 1st payment of $1,550 is due at registration.
The 2nd payment of $1,550 is due on June 15th.
The 3rd payment of $1,550 is due on September 15th.
And the final payment of $1,550 is due on November 15th.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE RETREAT COSTS?
7 nights lodging at Peacock Pavilions, all major meals, activities during the retreat, airport transfers to/from Peacock Pavilions.
WHAT ARE OUR GUESTS RESPONSIBLE FOR?
Airline tickets, additional cocktails, desserts, soft drinks and snacks that are not included with planned meals and entertainment. Also entry and exit requirements including passports, visas and Covid test kits.

WHAT IS THE TIMING FOR SIGNING UP?
Registration information will be shared with our “1st Contact List” on April 23rd at 12pm EST. This group will have the first opportunity to book a spot for the retreat. We will then open up registration publicly on April 27th. If you’d like to be added to our “1st Contact List” please email workshops@amybutlerdesign.com and ask Susan to add your name and email address.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I’M REGISTERED?
We’ll follow up with a more details to support your journey. And as our trip approaches, we’ll send you helpful information to prepare you for your adventure.
