Drawstring Dress

Thank you to those of you who wrote in and let us know that some important information was missing from the instructions for the Drawstring Dress in the book Sew Red. The updates below will give you the correct measurements and yardage needed for your project. The good folks who published Sew Red will be adding in their corrections to future printings of the book as well.

CUTTING THE SLEEVE FACINGS

1. Measure the new width at the top of your Sleeve and use a ruler to mark it on the crosswise grain of your Lining fabric. Then add 2" to this length for added seam allowance. Draw a parallel line of the same length 2 1/8" above or below the first line. Draw perpendicular lines at each end. Cut 2 Strips.
